About

Black and white photo of a woman sitting on a stool, holding a flower, wearing a black sweatshirt with text and a flower graphic, black pants, and heels, with a plain wall background.

It all begins with an idea. When Ellie decided to create a floral design business, she knew it would take everything in her. She planted her seeds, grew her roots and blossomed this creative journey into something she is extremely proud of. With 9 years (nearly 10!) of floristry experience under her belt, she lives & breathes the language of flowers.

A bouquet of pink and white flowers including roses, hydrangeas, and dahlias on a light-colored surface.

Soulfully connected to the language of flowers.

Some say florists are artists, creators, visionaries. Florist’s themselves feel the same, we’re emotionally connected to our craft. We are vulnerable with sharing our work, because creativity comes from the depths of our souls.

We value flowers, we value their meaning behind them and how they can transform a space, ignite a feeling and change a person.

A person sitting on a chair holding a newspaper with the words "Esmé Fleur" written on it in red paint. They are wearing a short gray checkered skirt and black knee-high boots. The scene includes flowers arranged in vases and on the floor around the person, with a plain white wall in the background.
  • Ellie finds her inspiration through nature itself, artworks, fashion, a feeling, travelling, a unique idea or from industry peers.

  • Definitely a sharp pair of secateurs, a water misting bottle (for the flowers & us) and zip ties!

  • When I deliver the bridal party blooms, specifically the bridal bouquet. Seeing the brides face and their excitement always makes me tear up! I also love seeing their vision come to life once we’re finished and being so proud of what our team created.
